I’m constantly amazed at how there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between a Democrat and a Republican. The only difference is the name of the pet project.

A study shows that sea ice is now at 1979 levels, the first year we kept data on that:

In other words, sea levels aren’t rising, there’s no risk of losing the ice caps, etc.
Anybody think Obama, Gore, et. al. will back off the global warming issue, despite tons of data showing it doesn’t exist?
Under Bush, all the “disasters” and “emergencies” were military-related or economic (we’ve spent $750BB fighting a $200BB loss). Under Obama, they’ll be environmental or social issues.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s the framework that’s created this mess (our government) or the people administering it. There are no good answers to that question.
