New Year, New Theme
Happy New Year! In celebration of the new year (2008), I’ve created a new theme. Well, actually, I modified one I found. I liked the old theme but it was busy, took up a ton of screen space (all of it, actually) and had way too much information.
This new theme appeals to me because it’s very minimal. All you see is the most recent post on the left, the five previous posts on the right and a very small footer. I really like the colors and that the focus is on the posts as opposed to the other junk that was on my blog before. I blame widget technology for the cluttering of most blogs.
Also, I noticed today that my friend Reese has updated her blog with an awesome new template AND added a Etsy craft store where she hawkes her sweet, crafty wares. Check it out!
